What is this compressor?
Ever been on a remote worksite with no power but needed compressed air for tools? The ANNENG YQ55 Hydraulic Air Compressor fixes that. It runs off your excavator or heavy machinery's hydraulic system – no generator or electrical hookup needed.
It's built tough for mining, construction, and fieldwork. Pair it with our Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining to clear dust from drill holes. Or use it with pneumatic tools for onsite repairs. It's the reliable air source you need when electricity is hard to find.
Light enough to move, strong enough for heavy use – it's the workhorse your team has been asking for.

Why this compressor is different
1. Runs on hydraulic power – no electricity needed
Connects directly to your excavator, loader, or other heavy machinery. Perfect for remote mines, mountain roads, or job sites with no power lines. No more hauling generators or dealing with dead batteries.
2. Built to last in tough conditions
- Easy to maintain: No complex electrical parts. Just check oil levels and clean air filters now and then – your crew can handle it.
3. Works with your existing tools
Pairs perfectly with ANNENG's Rock Splitter Machine to clear debris from drill holes, making splitting more efficient. It also powers standard pneumatic tools: impact wrenches, jackhammers, and air drills. One compressor, multiple uses.
How to set it up and use
- Get your equipment ready:
- Make sure your machinery (excavator, loader, etc.) has a hydraulic outlet with 16-25 MPa pressure.
- Check the compressor's oil level – add recommended hydraulic oil if low (we include a bottle with purchase).
- Connect hydraulics:
- Double-check connections – loose hoses cause pressure loss and slow performance.
- Set air pressure:
- Turn the pressure regulator knob to set your desired air pressure (default is 0.8 MPa, adjust for your tool).
- Connect your air tool or hose to the G1/2" outlet.
- Start using:
- Start your machinery's engine to activate hydraulic power – the compressor will build air pressure automatically.
- Use your tool as needed. The compressor keeps steady pressure, so no drops during heavy use.
- Shut down:
- Turn off your machinery's engine – hydraulic power stops, and the compressor shuts down.
- Disconnect hoses if moving the compressor. Drain excess air from the tank to prevent moisture buildup.
Where it gets the job done
The YQ55 works in many places. Here are the most common:
- Mining sites: Powers air tools for maintenance and clears dust from holes drilled for our Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining. Works deep underground where electricity is scarce.
- Road construction: Runs jackhammers and air drills for breaking asphalt or concrete. Perfect for remote highway projects with no power grid.
- Slope stabilization: Pairs with pneumatic anchors and drills when reinforcing steep slopes. Light enough to carry up hillsides.
- Emergency repairs: Fixes heavy machinery in the field with impact wrenches and air ratchets. No need to tow equipment back to the shop.
- Quarry operations: Cleans rock dust from surfaces before using the Ultra-High Pressure Rock Splitter, making splitting more accurate.
What you get by choosing this compressor
- Save on equipment costs: No need to buy a separate generator or electric compressor. Uses your existing machinery's hydraulic system – cuts upfront costs by 40%.
- Work anywhere, anytime: Remote sites, bad weather, no power – none of these stop the YQ55. Keeps your team working when other compressors would fail.
- Less downtime: Simple design means fewer breakdowns. When paired with our Hydraulic Rock Splitting Tool, it creates a smooth workflow from drilling to splitting.
- Lower maintenance bills: No electrical parts to repair or replace. Basic upkeep takes 10 minutes a week – your crew can handle it without calling a technician.
Certifications you can trust
ANNENG builds equipment to meet global standards. The YQ55 Hydraulic Air Compressor is certified for:
- CE Certification: Meets EU safety and performance standards. Approved for use in Europe.
- ISO 9001: Made under strict quality control. Every unit is tested before shipping.
- ATEX Compliance: Safe for use in potentially explosive environments (mines, quarries) where flammable dust is present.
- ASME Standards: Air tank design meets American Society of Mechanical Engineers safety requirements.
We can tailor it to your needs
Every worksite is different. Let us adjust the YQ55 to fit your specific tools and machinery:
- Hydraulic connections: Custom fittings to match your machinery (ISO, NPT, or metric – just tell us what you need).
- Air pressure range: Modify to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) for high-pressure tools, or 0.6 MPa (87 psi) for delicate equipment.
- Air outlets: Add a second outlet (G3/8" or G1/2") to run two tools at once.
- Protective casing: Extra rugged housing for extreme environments (arctic mines, desert construction).
Tell our team what you need – we'll have a custom quote and design ready in 3 business days.
How we build it to last
We don't cut corners. Here's how we make sure every YQ55 is ready for your worksite:
- Material testing: Cast iron for the pump is checked for hardness – we reject 8% of materials that don't meet our standards. Stainless steel fittings undergo corrosion testing.
- Precision assembly: Each compressor is built by hand by certified technicians. Hydraulic components are tightened to exact specifications to prevent leaks.
- Pressure testing: We run each unit at 1.2x its maximum pressure for 2 hours to check for weak spots. Only 100% leak-free compressors move to the next step.
- Field simulation: Compressors are tested in conditions that mimic mining and construction sites – dust, vibration, and temperature changes.
- Certification verification: Each unit is checked against CE, ISO, and ATEX standards. Documentation is included with every order.
- Packaging: Shipped in impact-resistant crates with foam padding. Includes a user manual, oil bottle, and spare O-rings.
What our customers say
Mr. Thomas Wright, Mining Supervisor, Canada
"Our remote mine has no electricity, so electric compressors were useless. The YQ55 changed that – runs off our excavator's hydraulics. We use it to clear dust from holes before using the Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining. Cuts our prep time in half. It's been reliable as clockwork for 8 months straight."
Ms. Ana Rodriguez, Construction Manager, Australia
"Road projects in the outback mean no power. The YQ55 powers our jackhammers and pairs perfectly with ANNENG's Rock Splitter Machine for breaking rock. It's light enough to load in our truck, tough enough to handle 45°C heat. Saved us from renting a generator – paid for itself in 3 months."
Questions people often ask
- Q: How loud is it?
A: About 75 decibels – quieter than most electric compressors. Loud enough to need hearing protection, but not enough to disturb nearby communities. - Q: What maintenance does it need?
A: Check hydraulic oil level daily. Change oil every 500 hours. Clean the air filter every 100 hours. That's it – no complex upkeep. - Q: Can it run multiple tools at once?
A: The standard model runs one tool at a time. For two tools, ask about our dual-outlet customization – it adds a second air port without losing pressure. - Q: What's the warranty?
A: 2 years on the pump and tank, 1 year on hydraulic components. We have service centers in 12 countries – fast repairs if you ever need them.
