What is this rig, exactly?
Tired of switching between excavators and drills all day? The ANNENG WGQK-180D fixes that. It’s a crane-modified slope drill that turns your regular excavator into a two-in-one workhorse.
It’s built for tough jobs: stabilizing slopes, prepping mine sites, digging foundations. It’s strong enough to excavate and precise enough to drill – and it plays nice with our Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining and Ultra-high Pressure Rock Splitter. Together, they make a complete rock-breaking system that saves time and cuts costs.
Steep slopes, mining sites, road work – it handles all of them. No more cluttering your worksite with extra machines.

What makes this rig better than others?
1. It turns one machine into two
Your excavator becomes a dedicated drill rig. No need to buy a separate drill – saves you about 50% compared to getting a whole new machine.
2. The key perks
- Drills at any angle: 0-90 degrees means you can work on flat ground, steep slopes, even vertical walls – perfect for reinforcing slopes.
- Strong but precise: 18-25 MPa pressure handles hard rock, and you can adjust the speed (0-80 rpm) for accuracy.
- Tough build: Drill head and hydraulics are made with high-strength steel. They hold up to dust and rust, even in mines.
- Easy to set up: Attaches to most 18-30 ton excavators in under 2 hours. Your crew can do it on-site – no pros needed.
- Works with our splitters: Pairs smoothly with ANNENG’s Ultra-High Pressure Rock Splitter and Hydraulic Rock Splitting Tool for a full drill-and-split workflow.
How to set it up and use it
- Get your excavator ready:
- Make sure it’s 18-30 tons (check our list for specific models).
- Look over hydraulic hoses for damage. Replace any that are bad.
- Attach the rig:
- Use the included brackets to bolt the rig to the excavator arm.
- Connect hydraulic lines to the excavator. Tighten all the fittings.
- Adjust settings:
- Set the drill angle (0-90 degrees) with the hydraulic lever.
- Pick rotation speed based on rock hardness – slower for hard rock, faster for soft.
- Start drilling:
- Line up the drill head where you need it. Lower it gently to touch the rock.
- Start rotation and apply steady pressure. Let the drill do the work – don’t force it.
- For deep holes, pull the drill out now and then to clear dust (use an air compressor if you have one).
- Switch to splitting (if you need to): Once holes are drilled, take off the rig and hook up your Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining to finish the job.
Where can you use it?
The WGQK-180D is built for rough conditions. Here’s where it works best:
- Slope stabilization: Drills anchor holes on steep slopes to reinforce them. Great for highway banks and mountain roads.
- Mining prep: Makes precise pre-split holes for our Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining. Cuts down on the need for blasting in mines.
- Foundation work: Drills deep holes for building foundations, bridge piers, and retaining walls. Handles hard soil and rock easily.
- Quarry work: Preps rock faces for splitting with the Ultra-High Pressure Rock Splitter. Makes stone extraction faster.
- Disaster prevention: Drills drainage holes in landslide-prone areas. Helps keep soil stable and prevents erosion.
What’s in it for you?
- Spend less on equipment: Your excavator becomes a drill rig – no need for a separate machine. Saves 50% compared to buying a dedicated drill.
- Finish jobs faster: One machine does both excavating and drilling. Less time swapping equipment – projects wrap up 30% quicker.
- Need fewer workers: Your existing excavator crew can run it. No need to hire specialized drill operators – saves on training and wages.
- More precise work: Controlled drilling means holes are exactly where you need them. Pairs perfectly with our Rock Splitter Machine for cleaner splits and less waste.
- Tough enough for daily use: Built to handle dust, vibration, and heavy work. Fewer breakdowns mean more time working, less time fixing.
Certifications you can trust
ANNENG stands behind quality and safety. The WGQK-180D meets these international standards:
- CE Certification: Passed EU safety and performance tests. Good to use in European markets.
- ISO 9001: Made under strict quality control. Every rig gets tested before shipping.
- ISO 14001: Produced with eco-friendly processes. Keeps environmental impact low.
- OSHA Compliant: Meets U.S. safety standards for construction and mining gear.
We can customize it for your needs
Every job is different. We’ll tweak the rig to fit what you need:
- Drill head sizes: Custom bits for diameters outside 80-180 mm (we can do 50-250 mm).
- Mounting brackets: Modified brackets for non-standard excavators (send us your specs – we’ll make it fit).
- Deeper drilling: Extra parts to reach 10+ meters for deep foundation work.
- Dust collection: Add-on vacuum to keep worksites cleaner (good for cities or sensitive areas).
Tell our sales team what you need – we’ll have a custom solution ready in 5 business days.
How we build it
We care about quality. Here’s how we make the WGQK-180D:
- Choosing materials: We use high-strength alloy steel for the drill head and frame. We test it for hardness and durability – 10% of materials get rejected for not meeting our standards.
- Precision machining: CNC machines shape key parts (within ±0.02 mm). Makes sure everything fits and works smoothly.
- Putting it together: Skilled techs build each rig by hand. Hydraulic lines get pressure-tested to 30 MPa to check for leaks.
- Testing performance: Every rig drills 50 test holes in granite to check power and accuracy. We look for vibration, noise, and overheating.
- Checking certifications: We make sure it meets CE, ISO, and OSHA standards. All paperwork comes with your order.
- Packaging: Shipped in heavy-duty crates with foam padding. Protects it during transport – even long trips.
What our customers say
Mr. Carlos Mendez, Mining Operations Manager, Chile
"We used to have separate excavators and drill rigs – total hassle. The WGQK-180D changed that. Now one machine does both. Paired with ANNENG’s Hydraulic Rock Splitter For Mining, we’ve cut mining prep time by 40%. Totally worth the money."
Ms. Sarah Johnson, Civil Engineer, USA
"Our highway slope project needed precise angled drilling. The WGQK-180D nailed it – 0-90 degrees made hitting targets easy. Later, we used their Ultra-High Pressure Rock Splitter for rock removal. It’s versatile, reliable, and saved us from renting two machines."
