What Makes This Rig Different

Our Drilling Equipment For Excavation stands out because we focused on what actually matters to people using it every day. Here's what you get:

  • Eaton Driving Parts: As you can see in the photos, we use real American Eaton parts. They last 30% longer than cheap alternatives, so you spend less time fixing things. Plus, Eaton has parts stores worldwide—easy to get replacements.
  • Fast Hydraulic Power: The fully hydraulic system sends steady power to the drill bit and rotation. It drills 25% faster in hard rock like granite than old mechanical rigs—meaning you get more done in a day.
  • Saves Fuel: The hydraulic pump adjusts to how hard you're drilling. Uses 15–20% less fuel when you're drilling through soft soil—adds up to big savings on long projects.

Compared to other rigs, ours balances performance, durability, and cost—so it's a good long-term investment.

How to Use the Rig

  1. Before You Start:
    • Park on level ground.
    • Look over the Eaton parts for leaks or loose bolts.
  2. After Drilling:
    • Stop the rotation and pressure, then lower the mast to transport position.
    • Let the engine idle 5 minutes to cool down before turning it off.
    • Clean the bit and mast with compressed air. Check for damage and write it down in the maintenance log.
    • Put the outriggers back and secure any loose parts before moving the rig.

Note: For tricky jobs like deep holes or slanted drilling, ask our tech team for training to make sure you do it safely and efficiently.

Where It Works Best

  • Mining: Drills blast holes in open-pit mines (coal, iron ore, copper).
  • Road & Railway Work: Needed for drilling in roadbeds (like soil nail walls) and railway embankments (drainage). With the optional 4x4 drive, it can get to remote sites with rough ground.
  • Water Wells: Good for small to medium water wells (100–250 mm wide) in rural areas. The hydraulics work steady through clay, sand, and soft rock—cheaper than big water well rigs.

It works in all kinds of environments—hot deserts, cold mountains, you name it. Talk to our sales team to get it set up for your specific job.

What You Get Out of It

Buying our rig isn't just about getting equipment—it helps your business run better, make more money, and stay competitive. Here's how:

  • Get More Done: The hydraulic system and Eaton parts make it 25–30% faster than old mechanical rigs. If your quarry drills 100 holes a day, that's 2–3 hours saved—time to take on more work.
  • Spend Less Over Time:
    • Lower Fuel Bills: The smart pump uses 15–20% less fuel when drilling soft ground—saves $500–$800 a month (if you run it 8 hours a day).
    • Less Maintenance: Good parts (Eaton valves, strong steel) mean fewer repairs. Over 5 years, you'll spend 20–25% less on fixes than with cheaper rigs.
    • Lasts Longer: With proper care, it runs 8–10 years—most rigs only last 5–6. You won't need to replace it as soon.
  • Safer Work: Emergency stops, stable outriggers, and optional remote control mean fewer accidents. That means fewer injuries, lower insurance, and no project delays from safety issues.
  • Flexible for Any Job: Adjust the hole size, depth, and angle—plus add extras like dust collectors or laser guides. You won't need separate rigs for different tasks.
  • Support When You Need It: We offer 24/7 help by phone or email, and we have parts warehouses worldwide (USA, Germany, Australia, Brazil).

How We Build It & Check Quality

We make our Drilling Equipment For Excavation in a modern factory, with strict checks at every step. Here's how we ensure each rig is tough and works well:

  1. Materials & Testing:
    • We get good materials from trusted suppliers: Q355B steel for the frame, Eaton hydraulic parts, and Cummins/Deutz engines.
    • All materials are checked when they arrive—like testing steel hardness or hydraulic valve pressure—to toss out any bad parts.
  2. Making Parts:
    • The mast and frame are cut, bent, and welded with CNC machines—super precise (off by no more than 0.5 mm).
    • Welds are checked with ultrasonic testing to find hidden flaws—so the structure is strong.
  3. Putting It Together:
    • First, the hydraulic system: Eaton valves, pumps, and hoses are connected and tested for leaks (held at 30 MPa for an hour).
    • Then we add the engine, rotation system, Eaton driving parts, and control panel.
  4. Final Assembly:
    • The mast is attached to the frame, and all wiring (controls, sensors, safety systems) is installed.
    • Extras like dust collectors or lasers are added here, based on what you ordered.
  5. Testing:
    • Static Check: We measure dimensions, check fluid levels, and make sure parts line up right.
    • Dynamic Test: Run the engine at full power for 2 hours, test drilling into concrete blocks, and check all controls (rotation, pressure, emergency stop).
    • Field Test: For custom rigs, we drill 10–15 holes in real rock to make sure it works like you need.
  6. Finishing & Shipping:
    • Sandblast to remove rust, then paint with 3 layers (primer + middle coat + topcoat) to resist rust.
    • Final check: A quality engineer signs off, and we gather all docs (certifications, manual, parts list).
    • Pack in a wooden crate (IPPC-approved for shipping) with foam to protect it on the way.

Our process is ISO 9001-certified, and we regularly check to make it better. When you buy an ANNENG rig, you know it's built to last.

What Customers Say

Here's real feedback from people using our Down The Hole Drilling Machine

  • Australian Mining Company (Iron Ore Mine, Western Australia):

"We bought two ANNENG rigs in 2023 for our open-pit iron mine. The Eaton parts have been rock-solid—no downtime from hydraulic issues in a year. They drill 30% faster than our old rigs, and we save about $600 a month per rig on fuel. The tech support is quick too—when we had a question about rotation speed, they sent a video in 2 hours. Definitely recommend." — John Smith, Mining Operations Manager

  • German Construction Firm (Bridge Project, Berlin):

"We needed a small rig for a bridge foundation in downtown Berlin—tight space. ANNENG made it with a shorter mast and electric motor (for zero emissions). It worked perfect: 50 holes (150 mm wide, 12 m deep) in 2 weeks—5 days ahead of schedule. The laser guide kept holes accurate to ±1 mm, which was critical. CE certification made customs a breeze. Great product and service." — Anna Müller, Project Engineer

  • Brazilian Quarry (Granite, Minas Gerais):

"Our ANNENG rig has been in our granite quarry for 18 months. The tough steel frame handles rough ground, and the dust collector keeps things clean (important for local laws). We've drilled over 10,000 holes, and bits last 25% longer than with our old rig. The parts warehouse in São Paulo gets us replacements in 3 days—hardly any downtime. It's helped us boost production by 15%." — Carlos Silva, Quarry Owner

We always ask customers for feedback to make our rigs better. If you want to talk to someone in your area or industry who uses our rig, just ask our sales team.

Common Questions

Here are answers to questions people often ask about our Down-the-hole Drilling Rig. If you have others, email support@anneng.com.

  • Q: What kinds of rock or soil can this rig handle?

A: It works on hard rock (granite, basalt), medium rock (limestone, sandstone), and soft materials (clay, sand, gravel). For super hard rock (Mohs hardness over 7), we suggest upgrading to a high-torque rotation system and carbide-tipped bits.

  • Q: How often does it need maintenance, and what's involved?

A: Regular checks every 500 hours (or 3 months, whichever comes first). You'll change engine oil and filters, check hydraulic hoses for leaks, clean the air filter, and lubricate the Eaton parts. A full service (like replacing hydraulic oil or checking welds) is needed every 2000 hours. The manual has a detailed schedule.

  • Q: How long does it take to get a rig—standard or custom?

A: Standard rigs take 3–5 weeks (build + testing). Custom ones (like deeper drilling or electric motor) take 5–9 weeks, depending on what you need. Shipping times vary: 2–3 weeks to Europe, 3–4 to North America, 4–6 to Australia.

  • Q: Do you train operators and maintenance staff?

A: Yes. We offer free on-site training (1–2 days) when you buy a rig. It covers safe operation, basic fixes, and regular maintenance. For big fleets, we can do advanced training (like custom jobs) for extra cost. We also have video tutorials and an online training portal.

  • Q: What's the warranty?

A: Standard warranty is 12 months or 2000 hours (whichever comes first) for the whole rig. Key parts have longer coverage: Eaton hydraulic parts (24 months), engine (24 months), frame (36 months). It covers defects from manufacturing, not damage from misuse or skipping maintenance. We also offer extended warranties (1–2 more years) for peace of mind.

  • Q: Can you ship to my country? Do you help with customs?

A: We ship to over 80 countries: USA, Canada, EU, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, India, etc. We provide all docs needed for customs (invoice, packing list, certifications, crate certificate). For tricky stuff (like import licenses for mining gear), our logistics team can work with your broker. Shipping costs depend on where you are and how you ship (sea, air, land).
